Tabletop board games designers Gamelyn Games have launched a new Kickstarter campaign this week for their latest project Tiny Epic Tactics, which features a 3D environment and offers players solo, cooperative, competitive and team play, building on previous small form factor games by the company, bringing everything from zombies to dungeons to the tabletop.
Nesting inside the game box are 5 smaller boxes together with a roll-up mat board. “Players will set up the game by placing these 5 boxes, plus the box bottom, onto the scroll in designated areas. Dreadfane
While Dreadfane is aimed at newer players, veteran explorers of the Mirrored City will be able to pit their current warbands against the terrors of the Dreadfane. The set will also be the first place you can get two new Warhammer Underworlds warbands – Ironsoul’s Condemnors and Lady Harrow’s Mournflight. Each has their own cards and fighters and, once you’ve mastered Dreadfane, can be taken into the main game. Combat Arena  Combat Arena is a fast-paced miniatures combat game that pits you against your friends in lighting-quick bouts of tactical action. Set aboard an Imperial vessel, the game sees each player pick a hero and battle it out, mastering their distinct fighting styles and abilities to claim victory. Each of these champions is represented by a brand-new model from classic and fan-favourite units of yore such as the Crusader and Primaris Psyker – not to mention a new Rogue Trader! Stormvault  The Mortal Realms are ripe for adventure – filled with hidden treasures to find, monsters to slay, and heroes in search of glory. Very soon, you’ll be able to embark on such an adventure yourself in a new cooperative game for 2-5 players. With optional difficulty levels, random events and each hero possessing their own distinct abilities, there are hours of replayability in this box.
 The Anthem demo has returned, now without the requirement to pre-order or have a code, as it’s now open to everyone. Join the Gamechefs & the TOW group as we play an give our first impressions (though most of us have already pre-ordered). We have organized a play time of 8PM EAST on Friday evening and a 4PM EST on Sunday afternoon. BioWare is teasing that there might be some new content that wasn’t in the first demo later in the day on Sunday before it ends. Could be world events, could be another mission, could be endgame stuff. We’ll probably get more details soon, or you can skip the Super Bowl and join us in the fun.  |
