Combat Arena is a fast-paced miniatures combat game that pits you against your friends in lighting-quick bouts of tactical action. Set aboard an Imperial vessel, the game sees each player pick a hero and battle it out, mastering their distinct fighting styles and abilities to claim victory. Each of these champions is represented by a brand-new model from classic and fan-favourite units of yore such as the Crusader and Primaris Psyker – not to mention a new Rogue Trader! In fact, the set is a prequel to Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress, and that ancient structure has further perils in store for them – keep an eye out for them in an upcoming adventure pack…

![]() Great games deserve amazing accessories that protect, support and enrich players’ experiences. This is the mission behind the new Asmodee studio, Gamegenic. Under the direction of Adrian Alonso (former lead designer and creative director who developed the Ultimate Guard brand and products), the Gamegenic team will add new class to the market with accessories for various games and licensed products. The product portfolio includes classic storage boxes, sleeves, playmats and albums as well as dice sets. Gamegenic’s slogan is ‘Ingenious Supplies’ and this is exactly what Adrian Alonso has emphasized during the development of their range. “Gamegenic will offer accessories both familiar and never-before-seen, which will always stand out thanks to their unique ideas and extraordinary features,” he says. “We develop premium accessories in every price segment and thus appeal to both newer players and long-term collectors. We are very proud to be part of the Asmodee Group and to work directly with a wide portfolio of excellent games and wonderful licenses.” Gamegenic will take over the production and development of all accessories within the Asmodee Group and thus continue and expand the corresponding product lines of Fantasy Flight Games and Blackfire. Benefitting from many years of experience within one studio, Gamegenic is ready to offer the right accessories for every game and each player. The industry can therefore not only look forward to premium accessories with fresh ideas but can also be very curious about which Asmodee licenses will first be upgraded with ‘Ingenious Supplies’. Transformers TCG War for Cybertron: Siege I Release Event: Private Smashdown participation prize (while supplies last) The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms builds on the core mechanics of Modiphius’ Fallout: Wasteland Warfare game system, but has been rewritten and reworked by designer Mark Latham (The Walking Dead: All Out War, The Harry Potter Miniatures Adventure Game, Editor White Dwarf Magazine) to suit the world and inhabitants of The Elder Scrolls franchise. Featuring high quality 32mm resin figures, each with its own unique custom base, the skirmish system sees fan favourite heroes like Hadvar, Ralof, Yrsarald Thrice-Pierced, Marcurio, Mjoll the Lioness, Ulfric Stormcloak, Galmar Stone-Fist, General Tullius and Lydia. The player’s heroes lead groups of followers on adventures inside Dwemer Ruins, Draugr-infested Nord Tombs, and through the frozen wilderness! As well as controlling their troops, players will also need to manage the stamina and Magicka resources their models bring to the table, all the while watching out for hostile AI driven enemies and narrative events that can change the flow of battle. Players can play against each other or team up (or play solo) to take on all manner of creatures and adversaries driven by Modiphius’ advanced AI system.
In the first wave, players will raise their banners in the fight for the future of Skyrim as they lead the forces of the Stormcloaks or Imperial Legion in the battles of the civil war. Forces will typically comprise 1-6 heroes and 3-15 troops. The first wave of releases will be a Two Player starter set (that can also be played solo and co-op) and reinforcement sets of resin miniatures for both the Stormcloaks and the Imperial Army. There will also be a Dragonborne single player set, and more races and characters from across the Elder Scrolls stories are planned. A host of accessories like scenery, metal tokens, deluxe dice bags, settlement journals and more will expand your options. Planned releases will expand on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim®, as well as adding releases from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion®, The Elder Scrolls Online®, and more. They offer sincerest apologies to those of you who were concerned by our miss use of the term ‘Version 2’. Please be assured Rick has not been imprisoned and been mercilessly tortured into writing a second version of his fabulous fantasy book to an impossible deadline… this is, in fact, purely an update. No harm has come to the favorite master of all things written. Although the same cannot be said of our web editors. Board games and dice are on the list of Chinese imports that President Trump has proposed for additional tariffs of up to 25% which is a 15% increase. (Courtesy of Tabletop News Wire RSS) The Aktaeus is the most recognisable of the Ordinatus Minoris created and operated by the Mechanicum, a super-heavy transport designed to carve a path through the stony heart of a world to deliver its cargo of warriors to the centre of the battlefield. Known to the armies of the Emperor as the Imperial Mole, this vehicle is employed primarily as a siege engine capable of rendering even the most formidable fortifications pointless by burrowing beneath them.
The Ordinatus Aktaeus is part transport, part heavy-duty war machine! This engine of destruction allows you to deliver a battalion of troops right to the heart of the enemy, unleashing a deadly seismic quake to cover their advance before providing a blistering hail of supporting firepower. You’ll be able to field yours mounted upon the Ordinatus platform, or send the Aktaeus Earth-breaker into battle separately, making it incredibly flexible. Nigh-indestructible when faced with conventional weapons, it’ll make an impact on even the fiercest battlefields the Age of Darkness has to offer. This massive kit is a pleasure for a dedicated hobbyist. Once you've constructed your Ordinatus Aktaeus, you’ll be able to freely remove the main body of the drill from the platform for painting and gaming. It’s sure to make an incredible centrepiece to any Mechanicum army, and a worthy companion to your other Ordinatus war machines. Welcome to the 1816 dystopian Europe. With your help we want to develop the 1816 skirmish game, make the necessary commands to play with and take our first steps towards a community that, in time, may allow the creation of a new narrative game.
This project, entirely made in Spain, is created with the firm intention to expand throughout the year and accomplish a complete catalogue that will allow playing with any 1816 Command. And also attaining more depth, through markers and elements that will create an evocative experience on the gaming table. The project is small, but we have invested in the best professionals within our reach, developing the whole concept during months of hard work, however, it doesn't end here. We are currently still working on this project so it can continue to grow, because we have total faith in it. 1816 is a skirmish game based on a dystopia (or alternative history) that starts with the Year Without a Summer, and that branches off towards a different history than the one we know, in which many of the wealthy and aristocrats have started a secret military campaign in order to take control over the Old World, taking advantage of Napoleon's defeat, the low temperatures and the famine. While nations focus on -apparently- recovering order and obtaining a food supply to feed the people, small military commands are covertly sent to carry out extremely important missions. The secrets are such, that many nations have developed advance technologies completely unknown to the wide public. Many countries like the New Prussian Empire, the Russian Empire or the Lithuanian Duchy have adopted a statu quo and try to put a stop to emerging countries, such as the Helvetic Republic, the Sweden Crown or The Netherlands. You shall choose a side and fight for the control over Europe, or just work as a mercenary for the highest bidder. |
