We are currently following the guidance of global health experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus in relation to all our shipping procedures and policies. We have implemented the use of far-UV lights on all of our products in the que to be shipped and installed Ionizers in open case product areas. We are handling all merchandise using the ODH guidelines for safety and we are reminding our employees about frequent hand washing. We are regularly cleaning and disinfecting our facility and equipment. We have also limited all domestic deliveries currently to USPS only and International deliveries will be sent to the Pitney Bowes distribution facility in Kentucky using forwarded delivery.
Many people are asking the same question: is it safe to receive and handle a shipment? The WHO and CDC have stated that the likelihood of catching the COVID-19 virus by touching cardboard or other plastic shipping containers is very low. We implemented our procedures to reduce any further risk.
As this situation is evolving rapidly, we are adapting to changing conditions and are developing contingency plans to address exposure. Gamechefs is working to continue to serve your needs during this time, while keeping our employees and all of our customers safe.
All of us here at Gamechefs hope you stay safe & healthy, and thank you for trusting us with your business.
