So my wife and I were heading to our condo in Florida to relax for a couple weeks after a few months of hectic work schedules. We decided to take the scenic relaxing route of traveling by train from Ohio to Florida. We wanted to take some games with us as the ride would be about 36 hours. While some small travel games are nice, we wanted our usual box games which can take up a lot of space. So, what do we do? In comes the Boards and Bits Traveler, a "must have" gaming bag for the gamer on the go! Here are the details for the best board game bag we have ever reviewed: |
The bag is designed to fit game boxes perfectly and the unique inner compartment also comes with an adjustable Velcro divider so that you can pack just your game board on one side and game pieces can be stored in "Bits" bags or in containers to avoid wear and tear on you gaming boxes which can be left at home. The front expandable compartment easily fits several of our small card & tile games as well as our iPad and our Surface Tablet. The side pockets can hold additional items such as dice or a water bottle. |
The following are key points of the bag from spielgeek.com: Features Strap for attaching telescoping luggage 6 Unique Storage Compartments PVC Window on inside lid to list games Wide shoulder strap with 10mm PE foam Rubber pedestals on bottom of bag Tablet retention net Luggage tag Solid #10 zipper on main compartment |
Conventions - Great storage protection to and from the gaming area.
Road Trips - Take your favorite games to family events and Holidays.
Game Nights - An easy solution to take multiple games in one bag to all your club events
The Board & Bits Traveler far exceeded my expectations. The size, construction and design make this the perfect bag for all your gaming travel. I have two events left this year with BGG-Con and PAX Unplugged in the next 30 days and this is my "go to" carry on for both. If you see me at either convention, you can see the bag first hand.
I encourage you to visit Spielgeek (https://spielgeek.com/boards-and-bits-traveler) and check out this bag further. Steve has done a great job and we look forward to his next project in gaming storage and travel!
