En Masse Entertainment has announced that free-to-play MMO title TERA will be available to sample this weekend, with the game's Open Beta going live from Friday 9th March at 6am PST. The console version promises optimized controls, streamlined interfaces, intelligent button mapping and new gameplay systems. These are showcased in the new trailer below, in which you can take a look at TERA's fast-paced combos, dodging and targeting mechanics. TERA on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 also includes a new all-new lock-on system, class-specific control schemes, a fully-customizable Radial Menu, and features for streaming via Twitch and Mixer. "The hallmark of TERA has always been true action combat, and the thrill of heroically taking out one of the game’s BAMS (Big Ass Monsters) will be coming to consoles fully intact," the latest press release reads. "All of the skills, tactics, and high-octane combos that make TERA’s combat so deep and satisfying are now in your hands." TERA will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in spring 2018, with the Open Beta touching down on 9th March until 11th March.
